JOB OPENING: 

Therapist/Clinician

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to: Clinical Supervision Director/Program Director

POSITION PURPOSE:

Therapist/ Clinician to provide comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations, as well as medically necessary outpatient therapy services to adults and children with mental health, developmental disabilities and/or substance use challenges so they may attain personal outcomes and lead full, meaningful lives they envision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To maintain certifications in Medication Administration, NCI, and Community First Aid/CPR

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Nursing, Sociology, related field with at least 2 years of mental health, developmental disabilities, and/or substance abuse service clinical service provision experience; or

2. A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Nursing, Sociology, or related field with at least 2 years of mental health, developmental disabilities, and/or substance abuse service clinical service provision experience. 

​

3. Licensure in one or more of the following categories: Psychologist (PhD-level), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Provisional-Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), nurse practitioners approved to practice in North Carolina and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an advanced practice nurse practitioner and certified in psychiatric nursing

 

4. Demonstrated leadership in providing clinical services and oversight, oral and written communication, time management, organizational, conflict resolution, computer (e.g., MS Office, MS Publisher, Excel, email, etc.) skills

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 

Current drivers licenses, NCI A&B, CPR, First Aid
